History:
Jack 'Sparky' Halden was born in Northern Scotland, to Half blood Jack Halden Senior a well known, well respected Auror and a halfblood mother. His early childhood was fairly typical, but even from a young age he showed a strong interest in sports and physical activities. His father took him to various Qudditch Matches and his two dreams were that of playing on a Qudditch Team and being an Auror like his father. Thus when the day to leave for Hogwarts came, he eagerly left for the new world. Hogwarts was of course a huge adjustment, The Sorting hat placed him with Gryffindor, where he soon made a few friends. His first two years at Hogwarts were mostly years of adjusment, learning his place and the rules. His grades were acceptable, and he started making progess to make his dream of becoming a Quidditch Player happen. But it wasn't until his third year when he really blossomed and opened up.
His confidence began to show along with a certain likable nature, the thing about him was.. People either loved him as a nice guy, or thought he was an arrogant arse. This only became worse when he made the Quidditch Team. Among his classmates he began to show a certain level of leadership, especially when trying to resolve disagreements within the house. By his 5th year he seemed to have a different girlfriend every month, and a small following of fans not only in Gryffindor but other houses as well, though still some thought he was frankly obnoxious. Though he was an excellent player, many of his classes his grades were less then ideal, and letters from his parents chastising him on this fact are not uncommon. Nevertheless the classes he loved, he usually excels in. In his Sixth year he made Captain of the Gryffindor Team and has invested a lot of time and energey in keeping the team strong against the opposition
Though he loves school life, he is now looking forward to moving on to new prospects, including possibly playing as a professional Quidditch Player.
Role-play Sample: "Of course it's another victory for Gryffindor! We have an excellent team, and good leadership if I don't say so myself!" Jack beamed with a wide toothy grin. Gryffindor has just won another game under his Command, and there were a lot of proud housemates, and even more excited girls cheering him and his team on. And a Reporter from the Daily Prophet was getting his thoughts on another hard earned win. "And next time?? We'll beat Slytherin too! Their bark is way worse then their bite, Trust me I know." he winked for the camera, and made a mock bow before moving off down the corridor for a small celebration with team mates
Of all of his School activities, Quidditch was his life love. It was getting to the point where Quidditch scouts for major teams would be staking out the exits to Hogwarts for when he graduated, he'd have it all, fame, glory and riches.. Actually he knew he already had some of the fame, most of the glory but none of the riches! But following his father as an Auror was also weighing on him, but there was still plenty of time to figure out his course in life. "We did good team! Showed the whole school that Gryffindor can stick it to anyone! Let's celebrate!"
