History: Kyle is a direct descendant of the pureblood Camden bloodline from Ireland. However he is not a full pureblood as his father married a half-blood witch from England. He grew up in England, and never picked up on his father’s Irish accent or the bias common in many pureblood families. Not that he ever cared to meet his pureblood relatives, but they more than likely disowned his father for marrying outside of his “class”. Whether or not this was true, he never found out, but still grew up with a severe dislike for anyone who thought better of themself over someone else. Though mostly pure, he still felt a connection to those without pureblood anscestors, and readily defended them when classism reared its head.
When of age, he was sent to Hogwarts as most the children of the U.K. were. He spent his time there studying hard, and was among some of the highest in his year. He tended to keep to himself, but made some friends and didn’t hesitate to join groups such as the D.A. in his final year. After graduation he joined the Order, but tended to play a more passive role rather than engage in direct conflict. He got a job in the Ministry, serving as a contact for the Order, floating from Department to Department as his interests changed. After the destruction of Voldemort he continued to hover about the Ministry but became restless. He gladly accepted when a vacant teaching position was offered to him back at his old school. Though still one of the hardest classes, Kyle has managed to get a more students interested in Arithmancy than there had been in his day; perhaps it was because he made it easier to understand or just the person he is.
Role-play Sample: Without a class to teach at the moment, Kyle walked down the halls and corridors of Hogwarts, reminiscing as he patrolled for any wayward students. He had many fond memories of this place and almost wished he could relive them, but this was as probably as close as he would get. He enjoyed his job though; after Voldemort and his followers vanished, working at the ministry had become dull. At least this way he could be of significant use and enjoy himself rather than constantly switch offices back in the Ministry building. As he came to the end of the corridor he found a younger student using his wand to write some rather... obscene grafitti upon the wall. Kyle chuckled, "Flannel, I dont think Mr. Travis will appreciate you defiling his walls." The boy quickly looked up, startled, having realized he'd been caught. The slight smile on Kyle's face only eased his apprehension partially. "Now get to class before somebody else catches you."
With a "Yes, sir" the boy quickly ran off. Kyle cleared the wall with a swish of his wand and continued down the corridor, continuing his patrol.
