History: Velda is Rita’s predecessor after the infamous reporter seemed to have disappeared 2 years ago. She is just as bad if not worse than Skeeter and will stop at nothing to get her story. Yet, unlike Rita, Velda knows how to get exactly what she wants, and her gossip column is the most popular in both the Daily Prophet and Witch Weekly. She is also a animagus, but did not make the same mistake Rita did and registered herself at the Ministry, even thou she uses her ability for the wrong reasons. She hates children and animals
