History: : Ginny Weasley is the sister of Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Charlie, and Bill Weasly and daughter of Molly and Arthur Weasly. She's grown up in the wizarding world and was obsessed with Harry Potter until she met him. She is outgoing and will put up with no nonsense.
She dated Harry for a brief time her fifth year, but he broke it off, not wishing to put her in any risk of being attacked by Voldemort. She understood this and took it pretty well. She still is a bit wistful but knows it was what's best.
She wasn't fond that she was been left behind simply because she wasn't yet of age and therefore would have to continue because of her mum and dad's wishes. She wanted to help Ron, Harry, and Hermione find horecruxes, but since she couldn't, she made the most of her time left at Hogwarts, looking forward to any visits from her two friends and older brother.
She was glad when Voldemort was defeated but saddened that it meant McGonagall had been killed and devistated that it had meant the loss of her brother. They may not have always got along, but over the past few years their relationship had improved and they'd been pretty close.
She refused to speak for a while, but Harry and Hermione managed ot talk her out of it. So, having graduated, she had to make something of her life, so she joined a Quidditch team as a chaser, but that was short-lived. She didn't have the heart for it anymore. She enjoyed it but it wasn't worth being away from her family and friends so often. She felt homesick far too often.
So, she went to helping her brothers in their joke shop at whichever branch they needed her on a given day for a temporary job, and she kept that until she was told about Voldemort returning.
She was determined she was going to help this time. He'd killed three people she cared about either directly or indirectly. She wasn't going to sit back and do nothing, even if Harry or Hermione didn't like it or her parents, so she joined the Order and kept her job at the twin's shop until this year when the Order has placed her to teach Muggle Studies, something she felt she could do. She would've taken DADA, but seeing as Casey was already there, she couldn't. Transfiguration, her other specialty, she didn't have the heart to take. She didn't feel she could ever do as well as McGonagall and didn't want to risk taking McGonagall's place in any way shape or form.
She didn't understand how Jamie could so easily step up to the plate or why she had been placed as Deputy Headmistress after all that had happened. But, she will listen to her archfoe if necessary. She doesn't let things of the past get in the way of work.
So...that's Ginny for ya.
APPROVED!
