Personality: Casey is generally laid back and calm, not really caring what's going on, but if you make any kind of comment that could be taken as a threat toward a friend or loved one, he will take action as he sees fit. He's also passive-agressive for the most part. However, when under emotional stress, he tends to be rash and acts without thinking. He's also caring.
Skills: DADA, charms, transfiguration, some advanced magic, Quidditch.
History: Casey grew up in the wizarding world and attended Hogwarts all his schooling years. His family isn't very prominent, but he comes from a line of aurors who are well-known within the Ministry. Due to certain events about 3-4 years before now, he decided it was not for him to work for the Ministry.
Casey was a to-the-books, stick-to-the-rules type guy until he met Evie in his sixth year and she showed him the fun to be had by bending the rules a bit. He was hesitant to do anything in his sixth year and really had not time to think of pulling pranks and such between saving Evie from Jamie Seams' killing curse toward the beginning of the year and then rescuing her from being under Lucius Malfoy's Imperius Curse. He turned Malfoy into a chicken and was carrying an unconcious Evie to the hospital wing when two Death Eater pals of Malfoy hit him and Evie with Sectumsempra, resulting in Evie's hospitalization in St. Mungo's.
So, between those occurences; badgering by Rita Skeeter; his sometimes hate, sometimes decent relationship with Jamie Seams; his dad's oposition to him and Evie being together; and distractions by Fleur, he had no desire to cause trouble for himself and pull some pranks.
He loosened up in his seventh year and began the year with a prank, which he and Evie did together, and managed not to get caught though a fellow Ravenclaw student logicked it out.
Somewhere along the line, he fell in love, so Casey proposed to Evie during his last year at the Yule Ball. They married shortly after graduation.
Two years later he has been placed by the Order to help protect the school and teach DADA. Mid-December he became a Death Eater to spy for the Ministry. He was glad when Voldemort was defeated because that meant the ties were broken and he worked to have his mark removed.
Shortly after the schoolyear ended, he tried out for the Irish Quidditch Team and made it on as seeker, which meant being away from Evie and their unborn child quite often. They won quite a few games and never had a miserable loss. When they did, it was only by a few points. He apparated home as often as he could, but it wasn't often enough for him to feel like he could keep it up. He felt distance growing between him and Evie and was sort of hurt at how the baby never wanted to stay in his arms, always cried when he took him from his mother.
So, he quit and resumed his position teaching DADA and as Ravenclaw Head of House. Now that he's heard Voldemort's back, he's hoping he won't have to go through what had happened before all over again but is going along with the other's wishes and training up certain students to be skilled in the areas most needed.
