26th December 2011
Evie,
I am writing you to inform you my duties are completed as of yesterday, Christmas Day. We are, so far as I know, on schedule to return on the 28th as planned. Of course, Ianto's lack of communication and presence makes it difficult to know for certain, but he seems the sort to keep on schedule. Still, as often as he's gone, one would think he'd have finished a week or week and a half ago. I have no idea what the man's up to, which has made it difficult ot plan a meeting between him and our guard. (Not to mention, what is going on around here that has kept our Guard preoccupied. See included clips from the Prophet.*)
Anyway, given the proximity of our departure date and the fact I need/want to catch our Guard before anything further can preoccupy him, I am left with no choice but to hold this meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. (I believe that is 2:00 p.m. your time, if I am not mistaken). I have, however, invited one more person to this meeting. Kara Viridian was one of the few in the Order pushing for things to happen before the government induced her own memory loss. She was rescued by her father, Trevor's Minister of Magic (now Undesirable No. 1): Fierro Darque. I will not mention ISIS to her by name nor will I tell her our express plans. That is for you to decide to do or not do. I will merely mention I have found a resistance group to help me with my own goals and wondered if she might help. Markus will, of course, receive as much of the story as we agreed and no more once Kara is gone. I am hoping Ianto will have returned by then to help with that part.
The only reason Kara will even be here her brief amount of time is to see if she will be able to help in case Markus can or will not with all that is already on his plate. I believe she can convince her father of a made up back story that would gain her answers we may need (She was framed for the murder of her husband, after all; I can't believe she would randomly kill someone. She is not the type.) about the check points that he signed into law. Of course, we would prefer Markus. His information is more up-to-date, but it's good to have a back-up in place in case. No mention of ISIS by name. No specifics. You have my word.
- Casey
