Ok, so perhaps it hadn't been the smartest thing to skip detention that evening when he had a week's worth of them for simply asking a question and demanding an answer and perhaps he'd earned at least one from his interjection when Umbridge was talking to Evie, but hey, he didn't like the teacher, didn't think she was fair, couldn't stand how she'd spoke to Evie. And skipping detention had seemed the only way to avoid her, and the fact that it was to spend time with Evie had made it all the more desireable, seeing as they'd not been able to find much time to spend together and had gotten into a row toward the end of class.
He was sort of more than glad about it now than he had been when skipping it, having heard of the quill that etched into your skin and wrote with your own blood from John who had also told him that Darkwood had assigned an alternate detention at the Quidditch Pitch to all parties that were supposed to have been there for the one the night before. Why it was on the Quidditch Pitch was yet to be seen, but he couldn't see what would be so horrible about detention out there, but maybe he'd be wrong.
So, he made his way there at the allotted time, after finishing his homework for the day, finally arriving a few minutes later. He made his way up to the bleachers, seeing as he didn't have his broom and didn't feel like accio-ing it at the moment. He took a seat, leaning forward on his arms boredly as he waited for Evie, Jamie, John, and Darkwood to arrive.

Evie sat in the Great Hall with Fred, George, Lee and most of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, all talking and enjoying a good laugh on Fred and George’s behalf. Evie completely forgetting about this alternate detention that everyone was supposed to be taking out on the Pitch, she couldn’t exactly say that she was looking forward to it, after all detention was detention.
"Oy, Eves don’t you have that detention to get to?" Lee asked, looking at his watch
Evie sighed and looked at her own watch and made a face, causing the others to laugh
"yeah, suppose I do…" she said, picking up her bag and putting it around her shoulder before standing up. Saying her goodbyes to her friends and making her way down to the Pitch. Still puzzling over what kind of detention they could possibly have at the Quidditch Pitch, didn’t seem much like a detention to her, but who was she to complain? Professor Darkwood wasn’t much one to keep to the usual routine so this should be interesting to say that least.
She stepped onto the soft grass of the field and looked around; it seemed that no one else showed up yet. Evie sighed, glancing around the pitch –seeing nothing, so she turned her attention to the stands, spotting a figure in one of them. She assumed that it was someone doing the detention so she made her way up to the stands, seeing that it was Casey once she reached the top of the stairs
"Fancy meeting you here," she smiled, walking over and sitting on the bench next to him

John made his way to the pitch. He hated having detention for doing nothing wrong, but at least he knew Proffessor Darkwood was better than Umbridge any day. He sat in a section of the stands by himself, not even realizing that Casey and Evie were there.

Evie sat there talking with Casey for a while and looked down to see if anyone else showed up yet. She noticed the blue rimmed robes of someone sitting not far down, figuring it was John because he was the only other Ravenclaw that had detention
"Oy, John!" she said to get his attention, waving him over

Casey smiled and looked up as Evie came over, greeting her with, Howdy, stranger, talking with her for a while before John showed up, Evie noticing him before Casey did, glancing over and waving him over. "Must not have noticed us," he commented to Evie about John's having sat over where he had instead of with them.

John heard a call and looked over to see Evie and Casey, he walked over and sat behind them, "I thought i was the only one here."

"Must of," she answered to Casey, smiling at John as he made his way over and shaking her head
"Well I just got here, and Casey's been here for sometime now"

"Nope, been waiting for you lot, and she shows up." He let out a sigh. "Guess Jamie's skipping out...though, I suppose she still has a few moments...Darkwood isn't here yet. This detention can't be all that bad, even if she were to actually show."

"Besides, even if Jamie were to show, detention with Darkwood sounds anything but torture."

Casey nodded in agreement, raising a brow slightly at her, as that had basically been what he'd just said but he shrugged it off. "Compared to Umbridge, most definitely. I don't see Darkwood making us write in our own blood." He shuddered a bit at the thought.

((lol whoops, didnt notice that he said that already))
Evie shrugged at his raised brow, catching her mistake, must of not been paying attention then. "Thankfully I never had to endure her little detention sessions like that."

((lol..oh well))
"Same here," Casey agreed, turning his body so he could lay across the bleacher with his knees bent, feet against the bench, head near her, looking up boredly at the sky.

Evie looked down at him for a moment before leaning back aganist the beanch just above them, bending her arms at the elbows and resting on the bench behind her and looking at the tree tops of the forest with a sigh. "maybe if were lucky, this will be all we do, sit here doing nothing as punishment"

"Torture, absolute torture," Casey answered, shuddering. "At least reading a book, something...just sitting here would drive me up the wall!"

Evie brought her attention away from the trees and looked down at Casey with a slight smirk "oh yes..Because reading is just oh so much fun...." she said scarcastily
