(Follows 'Cornered')
In club named Lure, not truly in Diagon Alley, more like in a wizarding village neighboring nearby the Ministry.
The meeting with Masters after Natalya had left had gone as smoothly as possible. Upon completion of their conversation, Trevor had changed his looks back to the blond, blue-eyed man who had walked in past the guards. "Auf Wedersehen," he had said to them before heading back for the elevator and exiting the Ministry. Looking at his watch, he did hope that Grant had actually listened when he said 'meet me in thirty minutes' or she was probably very bored or quite possibly drunk by now, but ah well. Whatever he got, he got. Hopefully the child would have the head not to get drunk when she was expecting her lord (because that was damn well what he was to her, and she would recognize it and learn not to speak to him as she had their past couple meetings).
Trevor didn't bother to change his looks back to his normal ones as he entered the club. The loud, bouncing music blaring over the speakers made him feel somewhat alive. He felt like dancing, but that was a waste of time. This wasn't about fun. Things were never about fun anymore. Always business. It was how it had to be. Unless it proved crucial to business going well, he didn't do fun. It was general practice not to mix business with pleasure. After all, the last and only attempt he'd made at that had rendered him a failure. But, he refused to think about it. At any rate, to not look like a robot walking into the place, he put on a few smooth dance moves as he walked his way through the club, his eyes searching the crowd on the dance floor for the pretty, young, blonde bimbo.
Finally, he spotted her, and he danced his way over to the table, throwing in a turn before stopping and sitting down. "Haven't been waiting too terribly long, I hope, darling?" the blond asked, raising a brow. He flagged down a passing waitress and ordered himself a martini, tacking on, "And whatever the lady's having." The waitress took any ensuing order and left the two in peace. "So, Grant, tell me, what all have you learned? I mean, you obviously didn't get close enough to realize you were spying on a colleague. Major error on your part. But please tell me you have something useful?"
