John floated around the pitch, laying on his broom with one leg hanging down. The broom slowly went up and down, flying around the pitch as John looked up at the blue sky. He has not heard from Alisa in a while which worried him, and he had not seen her anywhere at hogwarts. His mind began to wander to all the possibilities... Did she not get accepted?, Did she have a boyfriend now?, or Had she forgotten him?... John let out a sigh as he thought of these things.

Alisa made her way out to the Quidditch pitch where she borrowed one of the school brooms. She mounted and started to take off, noticing a person floating up on a broom rather lazily. She flew up, deciding to see if she could make a new friend. She flew up to his side and saw his face. Smiling brightly, she poked him on the shoulder to get his attention.

John got startled and almost fell, "Whoa, be careful..." John said as he turned and saw a familiar face, "Alisa?! Is that really you?" John smiled widely in disbelief

Alisa shrugged. "Oh, I've been fine, especially when I got the letter and knew we'd be able to see each other instead of having to send letters all the time. What about you? I know it must have sucked being at that foster home all summer.."

"Ugh, you have no idea. Talk about a family of freaks and their daughter was like swooning over me all the time, have to say that's a first, but needless to say i spent as much time out as possible or locked in my room by choice."

Alisa made a face as he described the family. "I don't blame you...that sounds rather annoying."

She smiled. "Glad to hear that. I tried writing, but...it seemed the barn owls I used had problems."

"I still tried, though," she answered, smiling and shaking her head. "Wonder where all the letters got to..the ones that actually went somewhere and didn't get brought back."

John smiled, "Probably in a field somewhere from them hunting mice."

Alisa laughed. "Ah, I guess they thought the mouse looked rather like you, then, eh?"
