Delilah watched Aishe as she began to examine Soren before she let her own eyes scan his furry body. It was hard to tell where injuries were and where they weren't in some cases, the way his fur was matted with blood, but the hole in his chest was noticeable. Whatever had been there must have been what the wolf had been tugging at when Delilah had first arrived. It looked as though everything dangerous had been taken out, but it wouldn't hurt for her to stop the bleeding once she looked a little closer.
Delilah moved from a kneeling to a squatting position and moved over to Soren's chest. "This is going to hurt him," she told Aishe. "It's going to hurt him a lot, but I need to see if you got it all out." She used accio silently to get the cup back in her hand then filled it with water. She placed her left hand on Soren's chest away from the wound to both steady herself and to give him some sort of reassuring touch. "Soren, I'm sorry," she said as she began to run the water over the wound. When no silver glinted in the light of her wand, she deemed enough water had been run over his wound, and she waved it as she performed Episkey, the healing spell. It might not be as good as a trained healer's skills with the spell, but at least it would be good enough to stop the bleeding, and that was important right now. Life was in the blood, and blood was everywhere. It was hard to tell which belonged to Soren and which to the vampire, but that was part of why it was important to close up any gaping holes. No need to reinfect him in a way that would be hard to heal with her limited skills set.
After taking a steadying breath, Delilah stood. Being on her knees was getting to her. "Ok. We can take him to the professor's dormitory. It's not far from here, and no one's in there. I'm going to levitate you now, Soren. Please don't struggle."

More words. Words meant more pain. And he wasn't wrong. The only indication that the pain was coming was when Delilah placed her hand on his chest. When she started washing the wound he struggled, he tried to bite but had no strength left to hurt a fly let alone pierce human skin. Before she had even finished Soren felt himself drifting in and out of consciousness. The effects of the fight were finally taking their toll as his rage all but faded away into the background. It was a weird sensation, being without the one thing that you knew would protect you without hesitation, but perhaps not as weird as when the levitation spell took place and he had to wonder if this was the god of death coming to wish him a swift journey into the next life. Soren never found out. There was more words. More words meant more pain and that was the last thought the young Spiral had before unconsciousness finally took him.

While Delilah healed Soren, Aishe collected the vampire's body and severed arm. Likely the humans would want to investigate them, but even the dead body of a nosferatu was a dangerous thing. She knew how to dispose of the corpse properly. She grimmaced at the sticky blood that burned her skin. She'd deal with this as soon as the sun rose. The seven and a half foot tall wolf slung the dead weight over her shoulder, careful of the silver claws on the remaining arm. The severed limb she carried by the ragged stump of flesh. The claws would be preseved as trophies, dangerous and deadly and honorably earned. Quietly, she rejoined her friend and the human.
Aishe walked beside Soren's body as it floated through the air. With the damage done to her foreleg, she couldn't go about on all fours as she would have preferred around humans. The looks she got were mixed between fear and surprise, but she ignored them. Soren's safety was her primary focus. Though, allied with humans, what was safe? The fleshy little things reeked of fear and fear led to stupid choices.
Through the rabbit warren of death-stink, Aishe stayed with Del and Soren. What was the human playing at? She had been demanding and callous, then gentle...was she two-minded? Was one of them an act? If the mercy was an act, then would there be payment expected? Far Runner couldn't help but question the human's motives.

Delilah had noticed the wolf's actions, but frankly, she hadn't cared. All she wanted or needed was a photograph. It would be simple enough to get, surely. Whether or not this thing was a true vampire or something other as she suspected from her research didn't matter. She just needed a photo to sell to masses that this pursuit was wise. Not that she personally would take responsibility. She simply had been doing as asked. After all, it was MacTail they believed was leading. She was simply Delilah Chase, the all business press secretary for Lord MacTail. There were simple enough reasons to explain why he had chosen to send her.
Delilah was quiet as she ushered Soren's floating body through the corridor. It wasn't far to the professors' commons, and already, people were daring to come out from the Great Hall. Stupid, she thought. But what did it matter now? The Garou she treated was unconscious now, worn and weak from his trials to save the lives of those around them from that creature, and the smaller Garou seemed tame, even hyper aware. She was human despite what her body looked like. It was a strange thought.
Delilah uttered the password as she reached the tall photo of Dumbledore. The portrait swung open, and Delilah ignored the look given to her by the former Headmaster. Delilah quickly led Soren's floating body to a bedroom and let him down gently. She supposed covers were probably unnecessary, but Soren's immune system needed any help it could get. She used a spell to put a blanket over his feet and another over his legs. A final one she placed over his neck. They hardly suited his gigantic form, but it was better than nothing. It would keep him from getting too chilled during his body's fight to heal.
Once Soren was seen to, Delilah turned her attention to Aishe. "Do you have anything that needs tending?" she asked. It hadn't gone unnoticed that the wolf had favored a paw, but she wasn't going to act presumptive. A Garou's pride seemed almost as important as their rage. Image was everything.

There were eyes everywhere...Aishe felt a sense of unease as she was observed by the living pictures. Such animate yet inanimate objects were unnatural and foreign. A garou with magic wasn't unheard of...it ran in several family trees, but even a magic using garou wouldn't surround himself with such a perversion of life.
The constant movement of the portraits made her jumpy, now that she was aware of their constant movement. Movement with no scent...it was utterly wrong! She swore to herself that as soon as she was free of human trappings, she would never voluntarily return. Her ears laid back in annoyance at the whole thing.
Aishe suppressed the rumble of a growl in her chest as she watched Delilah tuck Soren in like an infant. It was shameful, the way this human treated Twilight's Fury. He was a beta of his pack, a hero of the nation...not some pet to make cozy...
When the woman turned to her, Aishe had nothing but teeth to show her. The sooner she left, the happier the Strider would be. To make her point clear, Aishe inserted herself between Delilah and Soren, never taking her glare from the Death Eater. Aishe planned on laying next to the white wolf and keeping vigil until he awoke, but until the human left, she'd stand. They would need clothing...How did she communicate that to the human? Aishe stood to her full height and approached her, then gently but purposefully plucked at the cloth of her sleeve. The wolf cocked her head and glared pointedly to ensure that Delilah understood.

Delilah put her hands out, palms toward the floor and arms slightly in front of and out from her. "He needs to stay warm to heal. He's lost blood." She didn't understand the sudden territorialness. Honestly, just seconds ago she had understood Delilah was vital to Soren's survival. Now that he was out of the thick of it, she seemed to forget just how easily things could turn.
As Aishe rose to full height, Delilah took a step back. She wanted to grab her wand and to send the wolf flying across the room, but that wasn't worth it in case she wasn't meaning to attack and only to intimidate. Delilah watched as the wolf's paw reached out slower than she had anticipated and plucked at her sleeve. Delilah looked at Aishe, her brows furrowed a moment before realizing what she was wanting. It was direct contrast to the warning growl she had received and the territorial placement of her body between Delilah and Soren, but at least she wasn't being attacked for helping.
"I'll go get the bag Soren packed," Delilah replied as she left the dormitory room for the common room and the portrait hole exit.
It took a good several minutes for her to get to the Great Hall, retrieve the bag, and return to the Professors' quarters, but she did return. "Look, I'll leave you be for now, but I will be coming back here. I don't want to be too far in case you need further help, but I do need to speak to the Captain for your own benefit."

It was good for the human that she wasn't stupid. Aishe couldn't abide stupidity in other Garou, much less from humans. Especially, Aishe thought as her snout wrinkled in disgust, humans who reeked of fear. The wolf's brown eyes watched Delilah leave to fetch the bag she'd mentioned. That was what humans were good for: fetching and obeying.
When the door closed, Aishe sighed and dropped to all fours. Soren's breathing was still steady, but his heart beat was faster than normal. Aishe listened to it thrum, feeling helpless and useless since she didn't know any healing arts. There was little for her to do except protect him, so she went to his side and curled up against him to cover his wounded throat and chest. Her paws tucked under her and her chin rested on the floor. She'd keep vigil as long as he needed her. She would be loyal and useful. It was all she could do for him.

Delilah made her way out with ease, though she left the rod Soren brought there with the Garou. She did not want to lose that. The hard part, however, was figuring out where the Captain of the Guard was. She figured the best way to start would be to head back to the Great Hall for the bag in question. That way, she would get to look for him on her way there and on her way back to drop off the items. With any luck, von Wolfram wouldn't have managed to travel too far from the carnage.
It took a few minutes to reach the Great Hall and a lot of shoving. Everyone was either trying to sneak a look at the body or simply sneak out. She couldn't blame the latter, but she needed things to be clearer than they were. She needed to avoid causing any further problems for herself and Teague than there already would be. So, she paused outside the doors to the Great Hall, magically amplified her voice, and stated, "All students return to your common rooms. Professors, please ensure they make it there safely, and Guards help them. And Captain? Meet me by the Professor's commons in five minutes."
That said, Delilah entered the Great Hall, retrieved her things, and returned back. She only stopped to tell students to return to their common rooms for their own safety. Some complied easily. Others took a few moments, but before long, Delilah was back outside where she'd started.

The past 45 minutes since Chase had left to investigate the mournful howl felt like an eternity to the captain and the silence that followed was deafening. Eventually the crowd that was gathered in the Great Hall began nervously chattering and soon enough voices could be heard outside the doors in the foyer. Markus sighed and moved toward the door. If the fight was over the students would be out and about, curious as to what happened. This was a school after all. Not to mention the staff that would want a look.
Markus waved a few of his men to follow and made his way to where he though Chase and the wolves were. The carnage and destruction along the halls made it easy to follow the trail. What the trio come across was a nightmare come to reality. The area that house all the staircases was coated in blood and gore. Eventually the Captains eyes landed on what was left of what he could only assume was their killer. The macabre grin and shark like teethe the thing still bore was enough to cause the man chills. What the hell was it? Markus crouched down beside it to try and piece together what happened, though it did little good. The creature, whatever is was, was missing an arm, and had numerous claw and bite marks on its body... Markus motioned for the pair he'd brought with him.
"Lets get this body back to our base of operations and get this place cleaned up." Even as he said it he couldn't help but scan the area. There were still two werewolves loose in the castle. The danger was still far from over in the captains mind. Hopefully Delilah hadn't met her end.
It didn't take them long to get back to the hall and the crowd that was gathering for a peak or snippet of information was growing. Good thing he'd had the foresight to cast an invisibility charm on the killers body. No sooner had they arrived when a familiar amplified voice broke over the excited whispers of the crowd. Well at least she was alright. Five minutes wasn't a lot of time though... Quickly the captain sought out a few of the more competent guard and set them the task of making sure students returned to their common rooms without much fuss and once things were in motion he headed towards the professors commons.

The five minutes passed by more quickly than Delilah would like as she barked at students and professors alike to return to safety, redirected professors to stay with their students in their common rooms just in case, and other such nonsense. No one could be here now. No one. Soren and Aishe needed to be alone in here. No one aside from her could enter, and that much was quite obvious to Delilah.
When Markus arrived, it caught her off guard, but she forced her focus away from her own worries and concerns and put her focus on the captain. "Inside," she said before using the password she had changed the professor's commons to to enter the place. She quickly led Markus to the far end of the commons and to a room on the opposite side of the hall from the Garou. She did not want Aishe to take any offense to the captain's presence here and have things escalate, but they needed somewhere to talk where there would be no ears they were unaware of. The Garou would take comfort in what she wanted to do anyway.
"We need obliviators here, Captain, and fast. I'm trust you've seen to it that no one can leave the castle without being stopped before you came here?" Merlin, she hoped so. She did not need news of the reality of the monster who had lurked in the halls and murdered so many reaching the press or anyone else. "No one can know about that thing or that these werewolves weren't normal werewolves. We'll need pictures for the press of the body, but nothing that will show off the true nature of that monster, and we'll need you to make a statement for the Prophet. You, those wolves, and I will be all that know anything of what truly happened here tonight unless you give me any reason to doubt you can keep a secret simply out of respect for your time and effort here and your position. Can I trust you?"

He nodded and followed her order without much thought, stepping inside the professors commons as soon as she had motioned him in. It was good that she was concerned about how they were going to deal with the clean up but in this regard Markus was already at least one step ahead of his Ministry colleague.
The school is on total lock-down and the Obliviators should be here within the next 20 minutes. I've already had the things body....or the remains of it that is moved to the officers area we cordoned off in the Great hall - and yes, it was thoroughly hidden from view of anyone there.
the captain had another million questions he wanted to fire of at Chase but for the time being he bit his tongue. Obviously that thing was no normal creature. Even though it appeared vampiric in nature that certainly couldn't be what it was could it? As much of a relief as it was to know his sons killer was dead Markus still wanted to know what the hell that thing was. And the werewolves? What had she meant by they weren't normal wolves? He'd assumed they'd been under wolvesbane potion and some sort of charm or spell... The even better question being where the hell had she dug them up? Weren't they all but asking to be thrown into Azkaban or out right killed as a danger to wizarding society? Obviously the Captain was missing something important here, like why they were still alive and still being housed in the school.
Be fore his train of though could wander any further Markus was caught off guard by Delilahs question of trust. Could she trust him? He sure as hell hoped so after all they'd just been through, after all he'd been through.
"Yeah, yeah you can trust me. You don't need to tell me the populace would go crazy over something as high profile as this... I wouldn't even know what to begin to tell the press.... What was that thing anyway? And why are we keeping 2 werewolves alive and in the school?
Perhaps the questions were blunt, but if they were going to go into full cover up mode then he needed to know all the pertinent information. Last thing he wanted was for the Ministry to throw him under the bus and not have anyway to defend himself.

Good. At least someone amongst the guard was using his brain. While it should be expected of a captain, Delilah hadn't been about to assume. The Imperial Idiots had well established themselves as such, and typically, leadership was to blame. Perhaps training, then. Regardless, it was quite refreshing to see the captain was a step ahead of her.
Of course, then the captain got nosy, but she had to give him something. If she didn't give him something, he would dig, and it would put Soren and Aishe in some sort of danger. At least, that was how they acted, and she had no reason to doubt this. She knew little to nothing of Garou pack politics, and typically even if people had some overreactions, they were based in some sort of truth that provided them some sort of base enough fear to react in such a way.
Delilah sighed and sat down at the chair by the desk. and rested an arm over the back of the chair, her hand grabbing on to the bit of the side post and resting her chin on her hand. "Professor Witte wrote in on...multiple occasions," she sighed the two words, "stating he suspected we had a creature vampiric creature on our hands, that while they are documented as typically shy of interactions with humans and regarded the father of vampire-kind, we should not discount the possibility. Something about numbers on a door, a solution being a year so long ago that it could only be such a creature given the symbols and the blood. I would be interested to hear if the professor's theories held up. The creature certainly seems vampiric at the very least, though...other. As for the wolves. The wolves have done well for our government in the past, and thus, I pulled them to the task. They provided me with tools to use should things get out of hand and I need to control them, and I initiated what precautions we could. Unfortunately, not everyone listened. That or the guard--"
Delilah caught herself and looked to Markus apologetically, though she felt anything but. Sometimes the truth hurt. "Either way, werewolves are a natural enemy for vampires and these creatures and it was our only chance. This had gone on too long. Too many children and adults alike were lost all because of failure here at Hogwarts and on the Ministry's part."
